UNIVE researcher as delegate of LIFE GOAST TEAM attended at the congress MYCS2019 - Merck Young Chemists’ Symposium 2019- from 25th to 27th November 2019. It was an important event to present the LIFE GOAST project as an example of a sustainable project, which aims at reducing hazardous substances and environmental risks of the entire tanning process. Moreover, it was a great opportunity for our delegate to meet young chemists from industry and academic world sharing the future perspectives of technologies and sustainability. The researcher participated to Day two poster session where it was presented the LCA, LCC and socio-economic impact analyses of the GOAST tanning process in order to demonstrate the sustainability of the overall production chain of this new technology. The project caught the interest of many scientists and the poster was awarded by MERCK as "the best poster of the congress".
